My story
I've been a gardener my entire life but it wasn't until I became a homemaker that I decided that selling my garden produce was something that I wanted to pursue more. Aside from my husband helping I am a one (wo)man operation and although my garden is only 1/10th of one acre keeps me busy. I am learning as I go and have much more to acquire. My goal is to sell healthy food from sustainable practices, to educate the community of the value of integrating local farmers into our daily lives, and to help others who are interested in growing their own backyard gardens. I collect green waste from some of the local restaurants and I hope to expand green waste collection within the community to generate a compost system for others to benefit from. I am currently a member of New Farmers of the Central Coast and hope that our ventures will do great things within our community.
